Week 3 of the Lent Prayer Blanket Knit-A-Long
The basic construction of this blanket is 9 squares all sewn together at the end. Therefore, only the basic knit stitch is needed throughout this project. Each day, you will work on a little bit more of a square, and then you will spend the last four days sewing the squares together and weaving in your ends! Sounds easy, but staying consistent with knitting each day is a challenge. Do your best to stay current, but you can always use each Sunday to catch up on what you missed!
Day 1 (February 26th):
Continue knitting square 3 for another 13 rows.
Day 2 (February 27th):
Knit for another 13 rows on square 3. Cast off in the same way you did for square 1 and square 2.
Day 3 (February 28th):
Today, you will start on square 4! Cast on 27 stitches in the same way you did for the previous 3 squares. After casting on, knit another 13 rows.
Day 4 (February 29th):
Continue knitting square 4 for another 13 rows.
Day 5 (February 30th):
Continue knitting square 4 for another 13 rows.
Day 6 (March 1st):
Continue knitting square 4 for another 13 rows. After finishing these 13 rows, cast off your knitting as you did for the previous 3 sqaures.
