The basic construction of this blanket is 9 squares all sewn together at the end. Therefore, only the basic knit stitch is needed throughout this project. Each day, you will work on a little bit more of a square, and then you will spend the last four days sewing the squares together and weaving in your ends! Sounds easy, but staying consistent with knitting each day is a challenge. Do your best to stay current, but you can always use each Sunday to catch up on what you missed!
Day 5 (February 19th):
Now, we are repeating the same steps from the previous square for the remaining 8 squares. Today, you will cast on 27 stitches in the color you chose for square 2. After you cast on your stitches, you will knit 13 rows in that same color.
Day 6 (February 20th):
Continue knitting square 2 for another 13 rows.
Day 7 (February 21st):
Continue knitting square 2 for another 13 rows.
Day 8 (February 22nd):
Continue knitting square 2 for another 13 rows. After knitting the 13 rows, you will cast off your knitting the same way you did for the first square.
Day 9 (February 23rd):
Today, we will start the 3rd square. Cast on 27 stitches in the color you chose for square 3. After casting on, knit for 13 more rows.
Day 10 (February 24th):
Continue knitting square 3 for another 13 rows.
